Connecting with Families and Agents
Once you account is live on Which British School you are able to:
View Students in your Student Directory
Receive emails when new profiles are added to the site
Connect with families or their representatives
The Student Directory
When a student is a match to your school you will be sent an email notification that their Profile is now visible in your Suitable Student Directory.
Email Notifications
We will send you email notifications when new profiles have been added that match your school’s criteria.
The emails will include basic information on the student.
You can click on the link to go to the full Student Profile or log in later and view the profile in your school’s Suitable Student Directory.
Your Shortlist
When you find a student you like you can add them to your Shortlist.
By doing so you can easily find the students you have viewed and like.
Sending a message
It is quick and simple to initiate contact with a family or their representative: click on the message bubble, enter your message and press send. It will be delivered directly to the parent or representative that registered the student. They will be notified of the arrival of your message by email.
When you message a family or representative they will be given access to view your school’s profile*. From there they can visit your website, watch any videos you have uploaded and read through other key information to learn more about your school.
*Your profile is only available to people you engage with. Your academic requirements and availability are not visible to anyone.
The family can then choose to send you a message back via Which British School or contact you directly using the Admissions Contact details in your profile.
Followers
When a school has either; added a Student Profile to their Shortlist; or sent a message they will be added as ‘Considering’ to that student’s profile. This allows other schools to see how many schools have shortlisted the student, but it does not tell you which schools they are.
The Student is made aware only of the schools that send them a message. The Student is not aware of which schools have them on their Shortlist.
